Tree of Stitches - progress through Part 12

Tree of Stitches by Abi Gurden
I stitched part 12 of the Tree of Stitches over the weekend.  I decided to do a scan this time because taking a photo didn't seem to be showing the correct colors and I think the scan shows the fabric color better.  I did the latest part in two colors to show the stitch in more detail.

I've also added some beads to one of the parts, the top left, but they don't show up too well on the scan. I need to go through my stash and see what I can find for beads for the other parts, or else I'll have to visit my LNS.

This design is a SAL through the Yahoo Group The Stitch Specialists of which I'm a moderator. Not too much further to go!

Marguerite, your tree is beautiful, and the stitching devine! I love what you did with the last part. It shows up very well when I "magnify" it. I still have to get my last part done. Your fabric is much like mine. Or mine is like yours, LOL!

It is looking beautiful Marguerite, I see a beautiful summer tree with the gorgeous green leaves that I miss. Australian trees just do not have the sme vivid green leaves.

That is really an unusual pattern. I bet it is even more fantastic seeing it close up. If ever we meet up some day, this will be one I want to see.

Marguerite- Your Tree of STitches looks grand so far. I am traveling to RI this weekend and hoping to find a couple of LNS along the way that carry threadworx so I can finally start mine. I love the greens you used, it looks so serene and peaceful.
